Bradley
has been manufacturing high quality traditional furniture in the
UK since 1973, and has grown from
a handful of skilled craftsmen into a modern factory that is capable of
supplying our customers throughout the world. During this time
Bradley has maintained the traditional qualities for which we are renowned.
Throughout
our history, the company has made a wide range of classic English
period furniture in yewtree and mahogany veneers, with designs
based on those of the 18th Century, but with a contemporary
style. Over the years the Bradley
style has developed to match the tastes and requirements of the
present day. We have recently added a new softer mellow mahogany
to our traditional mahogany and yewtree finishes.
Most
of our employees are skilled in the crafts of traditional
cabinet furniture making, hand polishing, and waxing. The
company has also invested in modern systems, to ensure efficient production without
losing the benefits of our unsurpassed hand finishing techniques.
Recent
developments in technology have provided the opportunity to
reduce the impact on the environment, and these have been
embraced by the company. Not only is the working environment important, all the
materials used in manufacture are sourced from managed and
sustained areas. Bradley is a founder member of the Woodland
Heritage scheme.
